Colour Correction

Colour correction addresses uneven color, as well as your hair becoming too light, dark, warm or cool.

It involves a variety of techniques, services and products to achieve the desired result.

There are many reasons why a colour correction would need to be done, some include the following:

  • If you've ended up with an undesired or awkward colour

  • If your colour is too warm or too cool

  • If you want to go dark from super light blonde bleached hair

  • If you want to go blonde from black/red/orange coloured hair

  • your hair has been through so many different colours and it ended up with bands of all levels of colour and tones that is impossible to fix it just applying one single colour.

The last two are the the most common issues the clients present with.

This service is aimed to those cases where:

  • There is so much work to be done that a single technique is not enough to address the issue

  • It is possible to be done in one session.

Every case is unique and and it will be assessed for suitability for this service.

The condition of the hair is the top priority during colour correction. No service will be carried out if the condition of the hair is compromised.

Olaplex is always used during colour correction to protect the hair from damage, however there are times when this colour service can not be done. In this case we will speak about alternative results and come up with a plan that will be suitable for your hair condition.

A strand test is always carried out. I put a hair strand through the whole process before actually doing it on you to have a guideline of what is achievable.

Please bear in mind that a considerable amount of time, skill and patience is needed when undertaking these challenges.

A skin test is required at least 48 hours before the service.
